The fuel injection valve is a highly technical component requiring a complete seal. Perfect alignment must be achieved in order to accomplish this...that's why the Wesco cartridge is so useful. |||The "chevron" type packing on the reciprocating valve stem has been eliminated, thus reducing valve drag, closing time, stem wear and eliminating leakage through the packing. Spare packing and packing boxes can be eliminated from inventories.|
|||The Valve face and seat are lapped during manufacturing, eliminating the need for this process on site.|
|||There is no seat insert to fall out. The seat is machined from stellite weld which is applied to the cartridge face.|
|||To insure reliability, all finished cartridges are pressure-tested for leakage at the factory.|
